Jeany's story
Jeany resides in the province of Iloilo. She is 39 years old and has one dependent. She and her husband earn their livelihood through fishing, a trade they have been engaged in for 20 years.
Currently, Jeany is seeking a loan of 50,000 PHP through Kiva’s field partner, CEV, a microfinance NGO in the Philippines. She will use the loan to purchase fishing nets to supports their fishing activity.
Jeany aspires to enhancing their livelihood in the future, with the goal of achieving a better standard of living.
