Maleme Niani 3 Group's story
This group was created in 2021 and is composed of 15 members who all live in the same village. They have very strong connections and get along well with each other.
Madam Adama, standing at the right in the photo with her hand raised, is the group's representative. She is 44 years old, married, and mother of four children, including three girls.
Like most of the group members, Madam Adama dedicates herself to a small retail business. She sells peanuts, corn, and millet. She stocks up in the nearby villages. Her clientele is composed of the women from her own village. The earnings generated by her business help to pay for her children's schooling and health care and to put aside some savings.
