Mérina Asta Group's story

This banc villageois was created in November 2018 and is composed of courageous women who are active in different types of businesses. They live in the same village and support each other.

Madam Amy is a 65-year-old married mother of seven children, including three girls. She is active in raising sheep. She's the representative of the group and is at the right in the photo with her hand raised.

She will buy one lamb and livestock feed to fatten it up in order to resell it for ceremonial celebrations. With her earnings, she will reinforce her activity by having a small shop, and another portion of the earnings will be used to help her husband take care of their family.
