Norma's story
Norma resides in the province of Davao del Sur. She is 67 years old and married. To earn an income, she runs a small restaurant known as "carenderia" to locals. She has been in this livelihood for three years.
Now Norma asks for a loan of PHP 40, 000 through Kiva’s field partner CEVI (a microfinance NGO) in the Philippines. She will use this loan for additional capital to buy food ingredients like meat, fish, vegetables, and seasonings.
Through this loan, she will probably expand and improve her business for a living.
