Mamadou Group's story

The group was created in May 2010. The women who make it up are from the same area. They are mutually supportive with strong social links. Small business is their main activity. 

Madame Mariama, raising her hand at the right of the photo, is the representative of the group. She is married, 40 years old and mother of six children including two girls, with three other children in her care. She has been selling fresh fish for more than seven years. Her profits will be used to pay for the children's schooling and food.
