Dagath Group

This group, which was formed in August, 2009, is made up of 15 members who live in the same neighborhood and support each other.  The group is primarily involved in business.  Ms. Anta is married, 39 years old, and the mother of 4 children.  She is the group's representative and is pictured on the right with her hand raised.

Ms. Anta is in the second-hand clothing business.  With the loan proceeds she plans to buy bales of second-hand clothing at wholesale and resell them at retail at the weekly markets.  She has several years of experience in the field.  Her profits will enable he to support her children and contribute to the daily expenditures.
