Montagne Sud Group's story
This group of 13 members was created in 2008. The members live in the same neighbourhood and get on well. The aim of the group is to enable its members to develop economic activities. Their main activity is trading in various products.
Fatou, the group representative on the right of the photo with her hand raised, is 46 years old, married and the mother of five children. She trades in incense and beads.
This loan will enable her to buy incense and beads to retail in the neighbourhood and at the market. With the profits made, Fatou plans to expand her business and save part of the money.
