Federico is 51 years of age and is married with seven children. He is a farmer working in the Philippines. Federico's wife is a housekeeper and vegetable vendor. He is asking for a loan to buy inputs needed for their farm such as fertilizers (manure), corn seeds and pesticides. He will also use the loan to pay for preparing the land. In the future, Federico hopes that his business will earn higher income from the harvest to provide for his family's necessities. He also dreams of his children finishing their education and having good futures.
