Santhiaba Sud Group's story
This group, made up of six members, was created in November 2007. Its purpose is to help members develop income-generating activities. The members live in the same community and are united by family ties and strong solidarity. Their main activity is small retail trading.
Awa, the group’s representative, is on the right side of the photo with her hand raised. She is 57 years old, married, and the mother of six children. Awa works in the preparation and sale of breakfast foods.
With this loan, she plans to buy the products needed to run her food business effectively.
With the profits she earns, Awa plans to reinvest in poultry farming.
