Santhiaba Nord Group's story

This group of six members who live in the same village shares strong bonds of solidarity and mutual support.

They seized the opportunity to join the banc villageois when it was established in November 2007, and their main activity is trading.

Mrs. Ndeye Khady, standing on the far right of the photo with her hand raised, is the group representative. She is married, 42 years old, and the mother of a son.

With her new loan, she plans to buy crates of chicks and bags of feed for them in bulk, to raise them, and then to sell them retail to her customers.

The profits will allow Mrs. Ndeye Khady to reinvest in her business and also pay her children's school fees.

In this group: Ndèye Khady, Khady Sène, Fatou Kiné, Diouldé, Mbathio, Sokhna
