The solidarity group was set up on 27th April 2008 and is made up of nine women who live in the same district and get on well with each other. Their main activity is small-scale trading.

Fatou, who is on the right of the photo with her hand raised, is in charge of the group. She is 53 years old, married and mother to four children. She also has four other children entrusted to her care.

She sells sugar, palm oil and groundnut dough. She has good experience in this field, having carried out this activity for the past three years.

This loan will allow her to boost her capital and to build up her business. The profits she makes will enable her to improve her family's living conditions (health, food, clothing,etc.) and to increase her savings.

Le groupe de solidarité est créé le 27 avril 2008. Il est constitué de neuf femmes qui habitent le même quartier et ont les mêmes affinités. Leur activité principale est le petit commerce.

Madame Fatou qui est à la droite de la photo levant la main est responsable de groupe. Elle est âgée de 53 ans. Elle est mariée et mère de quatre enfants. Elle a aussi en charge quatre autres enfants confiés par ses parents.

Elle s’active dans la vente de sucre, de l'huile de palme et de pâte d'arachide. Elle a une bonne expérience dans ce domaine d’activité, qu'elle pratique depuis trois ans.

Ce prêt lui permettra de renforcer son capital et de mieux développer ses activités.
Les profits lui permettront d’améliorer les conditions de vie de la famille (santé, nourriture, habillement etc.…) et d’augmenter ses épargnes.
