This solidarity group was founded on December 10, 2010. It has 23 women members from the same neighborhood. They are neighbors, relatives and friends. Their main activities are managing small businesses and sewing.

Mrs. Coumba, the leader of the group, is 35 years old, married and has two children. She is a seamstress and has a workshop at the market. She has a lot of experience in this field. In the photo, she is standing on the right and wearing a green and white dress.

She buys fabric in Dakar and Touba, then sews sheets, tablecloths, long skirts, and dresses, etc...and resells them in the village.

She hopes that with this loan she will grow and diversify her business so she can increase revenues.

Her profits will help her to improve her family's standard of living with regard to food, health, clothing and also help her to save more.

Ce groupe de solidarité est créé le 10 décembre 2010; il est composé de vingt trois femmes issues du même quartier; elles sont voisines, parentes et amies. Elles ont comme activités principales le petit commerce et la couture.

Madame Coumba la responsable est âgée de 35 ans; mariée elle es mère de deux enfants. Elle est couturière et a un atelier au marché central du village; elle a une bonne expérience dans ce domaine. Sur la photo elle est tout à fait debout à droite habillée en tissu fleurette blanc vert.

Elle achéte ses tissus à Dakar et Touba, coud des draps,nappes de table,pagnes, robes revend sur place dans le village.

Elle souhaite avec son prêt agrandir et diversifier son activité pour gagner plus de revenus.

Ses bénéfices obtenus lui servent à améliorer les conditions de vie de sa famille sur le plan nourriture,santé et vestimentaire; mais aussi de renforcer son épargne.
