Baker's story
Baker is a dedicated coffee farmer from Nyabirehe. At 45 years old, he is married and raising six children, all of whom attend school. Providing education for his children is Baker’s greatest priority, and coffee farming is the backbone of his family’s livelihood.
However, Baker is currently facing a serious challenge—infertile soils that have drastically reduced his coffee yields. Despite his hard work and experience, poor soil fertility threatens his ability to earn enough income to support his family and keep his children in school.
With funding, he will be able to purchase NPK fertilizers to improve soil fertility. He will then grow healthy coffee to sell so as to provide for his family and be able to keep his children in school.
