Tân's story

Tân is 54 years old and currently lives alone in Triệu Sơn District, as her children are now adults living independently. After her husband passed away, she worked various jobs to make a living. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, she has gradually built a small business selling vegetables and fruits, a trade that has become her main source of income and stability.

She has over three years of experience in small-scale trading. However, her limited capital restricts her ability to expand the shop and diversify her products. To address this, she is seeking her fifth loan from Thanh Hóa MFI to purchase additional goods such as sweet potatoes, dried shallots, onions, dried garlic, and shiitake mushrooms. These items will help her enrich her store’s assortment and attract more customers. Since 2020, previous loans have supported her in improving her living conditions. Despite her efforts, she still faces challenges, particularly the issue of many customers purchasing on credit and delaying payment.

In the future, Tân hopes her children will have stable jobs and a better life. She also wishes for her business to grow stronger so that the products she sells can achieve higher prices, helping her secure a more comfortable and stable future.
