Lan's story

Mrs. Lan is 45 years old and currently lives with her family in Quảng Xương District. She has three dependents: her eldest child, 20 years old, who is attending university; her second child, 18 years old, who is in 12th grade; and her youngest, 15 years old, who is in 9th grade. She works tirelessly to support her children’s education and hopes they remain healthy, study well, and bring happiness to the family.

With over 20 years of experience in selling seafood, she earns a modest income of around $260 per month, placing her family among the low-income households in the area. To strengthen her livelihood, she is seeking her third loan from Thanh Hóa MFI to expand her small seafood business. She plans to use the loan to purchase additional products such as squid eggs, mantis shrimp, crab, mackerel, and yellowtail fish. Previous loans since 2014 have helped improve her family’s living conditions. However, she continues to face challenges, especially with her home being far from the center, which makes her business activities less convenient.

In the future, Mrs. Lan hopes for good health, happiness, and enough income to support her children through their education.
