Kel Group's story

The banc villageois was created in May 2013 and is made up of hardworking women who are active in trading. There are 14 women in this group who live in the same village and get on well together.

Aïssatou is a married woman aged 62 years and the mother of 8 children, 2 of whom are girls. They have all attended school. She is active in trading fish. She is the representative of the group on the right of the photo with her hand raised.

With her loan, she will buy a crate of fish 34 kg of sea bream and 80 kg of other fish. She has several years of experience and always takes good quality fish. She has been able to retain her customers.

With the profits, she will strengthen her savings in the banc villageois.
