Doudoul Group
A loan of $4,775 helps a member to buy local grains to process and fresh fish to sell.

Doudoul Group's story
The banc villageois was created on February 1, 2000. It is composed entirely of women who are active in trade. They maintain good relations and live in the same village and surrounding area.
Mrs. Diarry is a 49-year-old married woman and mother of seven children, including four boys. She is involved in the fish trade, condiments, and local grain processing. She is the representative of the group, pictured on the right with her hand raised.
With her loan, she will buy 25 kg of beans, 50 kg of millet, and 20 kg of corn. For fish, she will buy four crates, one bag of chili peppers, one bag of black pepper, and two boxes of garlic. With 15 years of experience, she has a loyal customer base.
She will use her profits to increase her savings in the village bank and support her husband in managing the family.
