Sant Yalla Thierno Kandji Group

The village bank to which this group belongs was created in June 2011. The members' main activity is trade and livestock farming. They live in the same locality. Ndeye Rama, the group representative, is on the right of the photo with her left hand raised. She is married, aged 47 and mother of two children. She owns a shop in the local market where she sells various products for household consumption. She uses all of her credit to buy basic necessities. She also has extensive experience in this field, having worked in it for more than three years. With the profits from her loan, she is strengthening her business and using the rest to support her family by helping her husband and young children.
