Abizeyeysu Agric Group's story
Gaudence is a 48-year-old mother of five children whose ages range from of 11 to 27. Her husband is also a farmer, and for the past 25 years, she has been growing Irish potatoes.
Gaudence is the leader of the group named Abizeyeysu Agric group, which in English means "Farmers who trust in Jesus." All of the group members are Irish potato growers.
Gaudence will use her loan to buy more Irish potato seeds and fertilizers. She will then sell her harvest at the marketplace to meet customer demands in the area. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to be able to increase her savings.
