Hường's story

Hường is 55 years old and currently lives with her family in Ngọc Lặc District. In her household, she is responsible for two dependents: her first grandchild, who is 10 years old and in fifth grade, and her second grandchild, who is 7 years old and attending second grade. Despite her commitment to providing for her family, they are still classified as a low-income household within the community.

She has worked in agriculture for more than twenty years, gaining extensive experience in farming. To supplement her income, she also works as a domestic helper whenever possible. Even with her efforts and persistence, her family continues to face financial difficulties. This is her second loan with Thanh Hoá MFI, which she intends to use to expand her acacia tree plantation. The loan will help her purchase additional young acacia trees to plant, with the hope that they will grow well and contribute to reforestation efforts that reduce soil erosion. Her previous loan has already helped improve her family’s living conditions, giving her confidence to continue investing in sustainable agriculture.

Looking ahead, she hopes her family will remain healthy, happy, and able to work toward a more stable livelihood. She dreams of earning enough to save for her old age, easing the financial pressures she currently faces. With better opportunities and improved income from tree planting, she hopes her household can gradually move toward greater security and peace of mind.
