Composed of women from the same village, this group has a close-knit bond among its members, who work primarily in commerce and agriculture.
Diabou is 29 years old and married, as well as the mother of four. She is the group representative, pictured above to the far right with her hand raised. Diabou is a vendor, benefiting from several years of experience.
With this new loan she plans to stock up on cooking supplies, including tea, sugar, and vegetables, which she can resell at a profit.
Diabou's profits will go towards increasing her savings and buying livestock.
