Soop Ousmane Group's story

This village group was formed in May 2011, bringing together women from the same neighborhood who are united by a strong social cohesion.  These women work in commerce.

Madame Jacqueline, seen on the right side of the photo with her hand raised, is 40 years old.  She is married, and is the mother of 4 children, including one boy.  She is dynamic and hardworking in her business selling clothing, shoes, and fabric.

Madame Jacqueline buys her products at wholesale in the capital city, and she resells them at retail in her neighborhood.  With her profits, she will save money and also contribute toward the family's expenses.

In this group: Jacqueline, Maïmouna Badiaré, Salimata, Ousmane, Diénabou, Binta Mamadou, Kadiatou, Sounkarou, Aminata, Maimouna, Houdya, Hagna Bailo
