Aktarun And Group

Aktarun And Group's story

Aktarun, a 31-year-old married woman from Kishanganj, Bihar, lives with a family of six. Her husband cultivates paddy, mustard, jute, and vegetables on their farmland, earning a modest income by selling the produce in local markets. However, their current earnings are not enough to ensure long-term financial stability for the family.

To improve their livelihood, Aktarun and her husband have decided to expand into large-scale cultivation of paddy, mustard, jute, and vegetables. To support this plan, Aktarun, along with her friends, is seeking a group loan of INR 230,000 from WeGrow, a field partner of Milaap. The funds will be used to purchase seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and other essential farm inputs.

This loan will enable them to boost productivity, increase their income, and work toward a more secure and prosperous future. Aktarun, her friends, and their families are deeply grateful for the support of their lenders.
