Orzugul's story
Orzugul is a woman from Khuroson, born in 1989. She is married and is raising four children. Her husband works, but the family income is limited, and all of the care for the children and domestic household often falls onto Orzugul's shoulders.
Since she was 5, she followed after her mother, who was a seamstress, and she dreamed about also become a seamstress. Today Orzugul is an experienced seamstress with many orders. Every day she works from 1--12 hours, sitting at her old machine, trying to fulfill the orders on time, but the technology is outdated, and the quality of the fabrics is limited. Sometimes she needs to turn her clients away, because she just cannot manage to get everything done.
Orguzul dreams of buying a new sewing machine and high quality fabrics so that she can increase her work speed, take more orders, and expand her business. She wants not just to improve the quality of her work but to also provide her children with a decent future - give them the opportunity to study, develop, and not experience the hardships that she experienced in childhood.
