A loan of $3,275 helps to buy medicines and concentrated feed for animals (poultry, cats, and dogs).

Yuri Araceli's story
Agricultural businesses are businesses and establishments focused on the cultivation and sale of livestock, insecticides, fertilizer, and animal feed. Their objective is to sell to retailers or wholesalers.
Yuri, age 29, knows this very well. She is taking advantage of the fact that her husband is a veterinarian and also has agricultural knowledge. Together they opened a veterinary supply business in a shop in their house five years ago. The income they obtain has provided an education for their three children, from kindergarten through primary school. In the near future, Yuri wishes to have a larger business and to employ people in her community. She requests her first individual Kiva loan to buy medications and feed for animals (poultry, cats, and dogs) wholesale.
Yuri lives in the high and cold mountains in the department / state of Huehuetenango. She speaks Spanish. She joined the "Puente al Éxito" [bridge to success] program of Friendship Bridge to expand her knowledge and enable her to develop an action plan to succeed and achieve her goals. Also she will learn about effective business management, and timely and effective use of social networks.
Thank you, Kiva lenders for helping Yuri to improve herself. She is hardworking, dedicated, and very motivated to achieve success.
