Nghi's story
Mrs. Nghi, 54 years old, lives with her husband on the outskirts of Thanh Hóa, an area known for its stonecraft tradition. For more than three years, the couple has operated a small stone workshop, buying raw stone from local families and crafting it into decorative products for artisans and construction projects. However, the market has been difficult recently and their income is just enough to cover their living expenses.
They expect that at the end of the year, the market demand will grow. Therefore, Mrs. Nghi is applying for her seventh loan from Thanh Hóa MFI to purchase more stone materials. She hopes this investment will help her workshop grow, boost her family’s income, and secure a more stable future.
