Thết's story

Mrs. Thết is 49-years-old and lives with her husband in a rural village of Thanh Hóa. Her two children are now grown, but the family still depends on her steady hands. Her husband’s income from manual labor is unstable, so she has been running a small noodle shop for nearly three years, serving bowls of warm bún and phở to neighbors in the area. The income is modest, just enough to get by.

To improve her business, Mrs. Thết is applying for her third loan from Thanh Hóa MFI. She plans to use it to buy more meat, spices, and other fresh ingredients so she can serve more customers each day.

In the future, she hopes her shop can grow, attracting more regular customers, and thus increase her earnings.
