Hòa's story
At 54, Mrs. Hòa has spent most of her life by the sea in Thanh Hoa province, turning the gifts of the ocean into bottles of rich, traditional fish sauce. She and her husband work side by side each day, buying fresh fish from local fishermen, mixing it with sea salt, and patiently fermenting it for one to two years in specialized barrels. It is slow, careful work, but it is the craft her family has relied on for generations.
Today, Mrs. Hòa dreams bigger. With her son's family living under the same roof, expenses have grown, but so has her determination. She hopes to expand production by purchasing more fish and salt, allowing her to scale up and improve the quality of her fish sauce. To make this possible, she is requesting her ninth loan from Thanh Hoa MFI.
With additional capital, Mrs. Hòa believes her business can bring in higher profits, create more stability for her family, and secure a better future for the next generation.
