Bốn's story
Mrs. Bốn is 33 years old. She is married and has two children, ages 9 and 7, who are both in school. Her family lives in a coastal area of Thanh Hoa province.
Like most men in the community, her husband works as a fisherman. His income is unstable because it depends heavily on the weather and daily catch. To support the family, Mrs. Bốn has been running a small grocery shop at home for more than five years. She earns a little over 200 USD per month, which is not enough to cover all the needs of her growing children. Life remains difficult for the family.
To improve her shop, Mrs. Bốn plans to purchase more types of goods to sell. She is applying for her third loan from Thanh Hoa MFI to make this possible. With this support, she hopes to increase her income and gradually expand her small store in the future.
