A loan of $1,000 helps to purchase small pigs as well as concentrated feed, vitamins, and deworming medication for their proper development.

Estela Maritza's story
Estela is in a common-law marriage. She has two children, ages 23 and 27. The younger one is financially dependent on her. The older one is independent and already has a family of his own. Estela does not have relatives living abroad.
Estela has been raising pigs with the help of her partner since 2021. She learned the trade through experience. She wakes up early to take care of the pigs and the pen where they live. She then goes to her other business, which consists of selling fast food such as hot dogs, hamburgers, etc. Her husband takes care of the animals in the afternoon.
Estela is applying for a loan because she wants to purchase small pigs as well as concentrated feed, vitamins, and deworming medication for their proper development. This investment will be a great help to her since she will be able to increase the inventory of her business. In addition, she will be able to have good production conditions so that she can sell them at a good price and thus earn profits to give her family a better quality of life.
Estela's aspirations are to have a a larger pig farm, and to be able to purchase some cows and thus increase her production in order to improve her quality of life with the income generated.
