Aghabek was born in 1971 in Ijevan city. He is married and has two sons. Aghabek’s wife is a disabled person. For several years Aghabek worked as an engineer and since this year he is working with the police.

Starting in 2010, Aghabek, simultaneously with his permanent job, has been growing plants in his own greenhouse and has also been doing beekeeping. In his greenhouse he raises watercress, coriander, green beans, etc., which he sells in the Ijevan market during the winter months. Thanks to income from all his occupations, Aghabek supports his family and paid for his elder son’s education.

Thanks to his first Kiva loan Aghabek was able to construct a new greenhouse, where he grows cucumbers, tomatoes and hot peppers for sale. Now he is asking for a 1.000.000 AMD loan to enlarge this greenhouse and to lay out fig and persimmon orchards.
