Yên's story

Mrs. Yên is a 43-year-old widow living in a coastal village with her four children. Her eldest son is already working as a fisherman, while her three younger children are still in school. Life in their community depends heavily on the weather and the success of fishing trips, making the family’s income unpredictable and their daily life very challenging.

To support her family, Mrs. Yên works as a day laborer, but her earnings are limited. She dreams of improving her situation by replacing her old fishing nets with new ones, which would allow her family to catch more fish and increase their income. To do this, she plans to take an 11th microloan from Thanh Hóa MFI.

With this loan, Mrs. Yên can invest in new fishing nets, improve her family’s livelihood, and provide better opportunities for her children. She hopes for a healthy family, successful schooling for her children, and stable jobs for them in the future.
