Minh's story
Mrs. Minh is 40 years old, married, and has four children, all of whom are attending school. Her family lives in a coastal area of Thanh Hoa province, where fishing near the shore is the main livelihood for local men, including her husband. Mrs. Minh takes care of the children and helps her husband prepare fishing equipment before each trip. Their combined income depends heavily on the weather and is barely enough to cover their daily needs.
To improve their situation, Mrs. Minh plans to buy new fishing nets to replace the old ones and is applying for her 12th loan from Thanh Hoa MFI. She hopes that with better equipment, their fishing yield will increase, helping the family earn more and provide a better life for their children.
