Fabienne is of Haitian nationality. She is 32 years old, and in a common law relationship. She is an enterprising and hardworking woman, the mother of five children, who studied up to the fourth year of high school.

She came to the Dominican Republic 18 years ago with her parents. They were seeking a better quality of life and a better future for their children. As of now, she has been in business for approximately 13 years. Previously she had a food business, but it did not generate sufficient income to provide for her family.

For that reason, now she has a boutique where she sells costume jewelry and stationery, including earrings, necklaces, hair ties, creams, perfume, lipstick, deodorant, pencils, etc. She runs the business in a small shop.  Fabienne considers that with perseverance, determination, and discipline she can achieve all her goals. Therefore with this loan she wishes to invest in more supplies for her business, to have more variety, make her business grow, meet the needs of her customers, and generate more income.  

She is the coordinator of the group,  and this is her ninth loan with AEI. 

Her dream is to be able to have a house of her own and to give her children a better quality of life.
