A loan of $1,900 helps to invest in her grocery store.

Dung's story

Mrs. Dung, 63, has spent nearly a decade running a small general shop from her modest home in rural Thanh Hoa. Now that her children are grown, the shop is the main source of income for her and her husband, bringing in about $300 a month, just enough to cover their basic needs.

As the year-end season approaches, the demand for everyday goods rises sharply in her community. To prepare, Mrs. Dung hopes to stock more essential items so she can serve her neighbors better and increase her earnings.

She is requesting her sixth loan from Thanh Hoa MFI to buy additional inventory. With this support, she believes she can boost profits and start saving more securely for her old age.
