Lụa's story

Lụa is 47 years old, a widow, and the devoted mother of three children. Her eldest daughter, now 25, suffers from a chronic condition that prevents her from working or studying and depends entirely on Lua for daily care. Her second child, a son, is grown and working, while her youngest daughter is still in high school. The family lives in a small coastal community in Thanh Hoa Province.

With the full weight of the household on her shoulders, Lụa works tirelessly every day. She buys fresh seafood from local fishermen and resells it at nearby markets and shops. Despite her hard work, her monthly income is around only 300 USD, which barely covers basic living expenses and her eldest daughter's needs. Life remains difficult.

To improve her family’s situation, Lụa is requesting her sixth loan from Thanh Hoa MFI to purchase more fish and shrimp to resell, helping her increase her daily sales and earn a more stable income. For her, this loan represents a chance to build a better life for her children, especially the daughter who depends on her!
