A loan of $1,900 helps to buy several young buffalo calves to raise.

Tâm's story
Tâm, 58, lives with her husband in a small rural home in Thanh Hoa province. Their two children are now grown, but the couple continues to work tirelessly to support themselves. For more than 30 years, they have been farmers—growing rice and vegetables, and raising livestock and poultry. To make ends meet, they also take on manual labor jobs whenever available.
To improve their income, Tâm plans to buy several young buffalo calves, raise them for 1–2 years, and then sell them to local traders. This small livestock investment can bring her family a more stable and reliable source of earnings. She is now applying for her seventh loan from Thanh Hoa MFI to purchase the calves.
With this support, she hopes to strengthen her family’s livelihood and increase their income after many years of hard work in agriculture.
