Liên's story
Liên, 66, lives with her husband in a rural area of Thanh Hóa province. Their children are grown, and the couple depends on small-scale farm work and manual labor to cover daily living costs. Living far from the town center makes it difficult for her to buy supplies and access financial services.
She hopes to restore and expand her livestock, but she lacks the capital to buy new animals and feed. Liên is now applying for her first loan from Thanh Hóa MFI to purchase young cows, raise them for about a year, and then sell them for profit.
