Geoffrey is a married man with three children, all of whom attend school. He lives in a rental house that has electricity and piped water. His greatest monthly expenses are school fees and rent bills.
For the past three years, he has operated a food stall, selling to his neighbours and passersby. He faces a major challenge of seasonality. During the holiday season he experiences a high customer turn-up while during the months of January to May he experiences a low customer turn-up. He dreams of expanding his business and establishing a restaurant business in the future.
With the Kshs 60,000 he wants to purchase sacks of maize flour and sacks of beans. He decided to join Yehu to access loans to boost his business.
