Gloria Mercedes
A loan of $2,000 helps to invest in remodeling, shelving, organizers, and merchandise.

Gloria Mercedes' story
Gloria, age 21, lives with her mother in a two-story house. On the first floor, with her mother's permission, she established her small store, which permits her to have income to help in the household. Gloria started this work when she was a adolescent; she always has wanted to be her own boss and income generator. Thus, after finishing high school, she began full-time work selling groceries in her small store.
She wants to improve the appearance of her store and to invest in remodeling it by acquiring shelving, organizers, and merchandise to have a good stock. This will attract more customers from within and outside the zone. To do that, she requests a Kiva loan, confident that she will make her monthly payments on time. Through her work, she wants to provide a good life for herself and her mother.
