La Union Group

The "La Unión" loan group comprises enterprising and responsible women who are committed to improving their families' quality of life. The women live in working-class neighbourhoods where conditions are adequate. 

This is the case for Adriana, who continues at her business - she has a mill for seeds in her house. This work continues to allow her to generate an income to be able to help with family expenses. 

Adriana used her previous loan to buy consumables, such as engine oil, and to maintain her mill. 

Adriana continues to work in order to buy a more powerful mill to grind harder seeds. 

The rest of the loan group are: Maira, Nidia, Flor, Anatalia, Veronica, Remedios, Felix, Erika and Floribel - all women who, alongside their families, are looking to move forward.
