Phalla, age 29, is married and resides in Takeo Province, Cambodia. She is engaged in a business of weaving traditional silk products, earning an income of $3 per day to help cover the family expenses. The family is also assisted by her husband, who is a construction foreman, earning an income of $4 per day.
Phalla is requesting a loan of $1,200 to purchase more raw silk to produce more silk products. This will be her second loan from CREDIT, a partner of Kiva.
