Duyên's story
Duyên, 45 years old, lives with her husband and two children in a rural area of Thanh Hoa province. One of her children is grown, while the younger one is still in school. Her husband works in small-scale farming and livestock raising, and for the past five years, she has been running a small grocery shop at home. The shop brings her a monthly profit of over 200 USD, helping support the family’s daily needs.
As the year-end shopping season approaches, local demand for consumer goods is increasing. To meet this growing demand, Duyên is applying for her first loan from Thanh Hoa MFI to purchase additional inventory. She hopes that diversifying her products will attract more customers and increase her family's income in the months ahead.
