Carlos Oswaldo

Carlos Oswaldo's story

Carlos is 48 yeas old. He is a hard-working man with a positive outlook on life, despite the difficulties which he has faced. Through determination and with faith in God he has managed to get ahead, along with his wife and children. Carlos and his wife sell fruit and vegetables from small stalls in the local groceries market. This business has not only given them financial independence, but has also helped Carlos to spend time with his family when needed, so that he can look after his children more. The high consumption of fruit and vegetables of the population means he is looking for ways to have more fresh produce available for his customers. This has led him to request his first loan in order to buy: boxes of grapes, apples and mangoes and sacks of beans, carrots, potatoes, peas and corn, among other fruits and vegetables in order to stock his stalls, which will attract more customers and therefore lead to better earnings with which he can provide for his family. Carlos would like to save up to obtain the title deeds for his house in order to ensure that his children have their own place in which to live.
