Chinh's story
Mrs. Chinh, 41 years old, lives with her husband and their only child in a rural area of Thanh Hoa province. Her husband works as a manual laborer, while she does small-scale farming and raises livestock to support the family. Their income is just enough to cover daily expenses.
The family’s current chicken and pig shelter is old and severely deteriorated, but they do not have enough savings to rebuild it. Mrs. Chinh is applying for her third loan from Thanh Hoa MFI to buy construction materials and hire local workers to repair and expand the livestock shelter.
With a stronger and larger structure, she hopes to raise more chickens and pigs, increase production, and improve her family’s income in the coming years.
