Marcelino
Marcelino is 30 years old. He is a cheerful and hard-working young man who lives in his own home together with his partner, 29 year-old Esther, and his two beloved children who he would like to provide with a good education.

Marcelino has many projects in mind through which he hopes to remove himself from the poverty which plagues his household. Marcelino is a farmer who grows a variety of native plants on his plot of land including cacao, coffee, annatto and turmeric. These products provide him with a good financial sustainability through which he can improve his living conditions. Marcelino has been working in this business for 10 years and he takes advantage of his free days to work as a day laborer on other people's land. In this way, he makes more income and covers the educational expenses of his young children.

Marcelino needs the help of our financial institution to improve the outside of his home. For this reason, he is requesting one of the loans that MFP provides to people who need to make progress and invest their money in benefiting their own homes. Marcelino tells us that he needs to improve his home with sheets of corrugated metal, planks and beams which will last for a long period of time and will provide a good home for his beloved family.

For the good of his future, Marcelino hopes to work with more energy on his land and to buy more land in the future. This will be his first loan from MFP and he needs this support to carry out his plans. For his part, he pledges to make his repayments according to schedule. Marcelino will use the 3,000 Peruvian soles he has requested to refurbish his home and buy corrugated metal sheets, planks, beams and nails to improve the roof of his house.
