Gladys Ermelinda's story

Gladys is a widow and lives alone. She has two daughters who are adults and independent. One of them is her neighbor, as she built her house on the same property, and the other lives abroad.

Gladys has been the owner of a small tailoring business for approximately 41 years. She learned the trade from her mother. In general, she tends the business alone and sometimes her daughter supports her. Gladys works with a schedule of 8:00 am. to 2:00 pm. The business does not have any difficulties at the moment. Her greatest advantage is that she already has many customers who prefer her products such as sheets, curtains, tablecloths, etc.

Gladys is opting to ask for a loan because, through this, she will be able to get the financial resources she needs to strengthen her business. She will invest in the purchase of special fabrics for curtains, sheets, bedspreads, etc., so to stock the inventory of her tailoring business. She will also do preventative maintenance on her sewing machines. She expects that, with the help of the loan, her sales and earnings will improve.

Her aspirations are to increase production, include new products, purchase other sewing machines, and have the financial stability to fulfill her different obligations.
