Susan, age 35, sells paint in her shop to earn a living. As the single mother of a 10-year-old, she saw the need to open another business so as to generate more income to afford the education of her child. This is why she started her mobile-phone money transfer business.
Susan has benefited from the financial education conducted by Faulu Kenya because she has improved her business. She hopes to open an art school for the teaching of painting in the future.
Susan has requested a loan in the amount of 80,000 Kenyan shillings to open another mobile-phone money transfer business.
