Emary's story
Emary is 40 years old and resides in the province of Iloilo. To earn an income, she runs a sari-sari (variety) store where she sells basic commodities. She has been managing this business for 10 years.
Currently Emary is requesting a loan of PHP 50,000 through Kiva’s lending partner CEVI, a microfinance NGO in the Philippines. She will use the loan as additional capital to buy assorted groceries to sell in her store.
Emary dreams of further improving her business in the future to achieve a better standard of living.
