The communal bank "Hermano Miguel" is comprised of 9 members, most of whom are related. They work in different activities that help them to support their households and get ahead with their families. They live in the Las Orquideas neighborhood in the city of Cuenca, which is the third largest city in the country. Its people, its culture, its traditions, the variety of its cuisine and the beauty of the surrounding countryside make this city enchanting and dreamlike.

Gladys lives in the Las Orquideas neighborhood. She has been in this communal bank for 7 years. She is 28 years old, married, and has 2 children aged eight and one and a half. Her oldest daughter studies in a school in the city. Her husband is an industrial mechanic. They do not own a home, and so live in a rented dwelling.

Gladys is a teacher. She has been teaching in a small school in her city for two years. In her free time she sells Esika brand cosmetics. She has been selling cosmetics for three years.

She will invest the proceeds of this loan in perfumes, creams and cosmetics to expand her business.

Her goal is to get her degree, since she lacks only one more year of studies.

El banco comunal Hermano Miguel está formado por 9 socias quienes en su mayoría son familia, laboran en diferentes actividades las mismas que les permiten ayudar económicamente en sus hogares y salir adelante junto a sus familias. Viven por el sector de las Orquídeas en la ciudad de Cuenca que es la tercera ciudad más importante del País. Su gente, su cultura, sus tradiciones, la variedad de su gastronomía y la belleza de sus paisajes hacen de esta ciudad encantadora y de ensueños.

La Señora. Gladys vive por el sector de la Orquídeas, se encuentra en el banco comunal 7 años, tiene 28 años, es casada y tiene 2 hijas de 8 y 1 año y medio de edad, su primera hija estudia en una escuelita de la ciudad. Su esposo es de profesión mecánico industrial, no tienen casa propia por lo que viven arrendando.

Doña Gladys es profesora y hace dos años se encuentra ejerciendo su profesión en la escuelita de la ciudad, en sus tiempos libres se dedica a la venta de cosméticos de la marca Esika, esta labor la realiza hace 3 años.

El dinero de su crédito lo va a invertir en la compra de perfumes, cremas y cosméticos para crecer en su negocio.

Su meta es obtener su licenciatura ya que solo le falta un año más de estudios.

La foto pequeña adjunta es de una de las socias que por motivos de trabajo no pudo estar presente cuando se tomó la foto del grupo. Por esta ocasión nos acompaña en la foto el Señor Danny que es el promotor.
